README
What's this doing here? It's here to help if you're developing the Python DCOP bindings themselves. You don't need it if you just want to _use_ the bindings. It's a simple DCOP server in C++, that can be used to conveniently test the Python DCOP interface (or any other DCOP binding, for that matter). The script gen.py generates simple get/set DCOP methods for a variety of types. Note that gen.py is _not_ automatically invoked from the Makefile, so you should run it yourself before doing make.
