2.2. Kexi Features

Kexi has many features that distinguish it from the competition:

• It works under different operating systems: Linux, Windows, Macintosh.
• Data and design is highly portable between these platforms.
• Different database management systems supported: MySQL, PostgreSQL (others to come).
• Convinient configuration and adjusting of the application.
• Fully translated user interface, application is available in many language versions, without the need to install them separately. Currently about 30 languages are supported, with a target of 60.
• Perfect integration both in the popular KDE graphical enviroment for Linux and in Microsoft Windows.
